2023 — LAL Construction, Canberra.

It was a pleasure to work with local Canberra business LAL Construction on the design and development of their brand new website. The organisation had no website before we started this process, so it was truly working from scratch.

Before receiving any assets, I had a preconceived idea about what the aesthetic for the site would look like, but as soon as I received the beautiful photography of their past projects, I knew exactly what I wanted the look and feel of the site to be.

I loved being able to play on the shapes within their branding to bring these diagonal elements into the content and design. And while at the beginning I thought the branding and site photography may clash, it ended up being a beautifully subtle pairing of neutral tones with pops of colour — very similar to the designs they build.
