Queanbeyan Whites Website.
In 2021, I was engaged by the team at Queanbeyan Whites Rugby Union Club to build them a new website for their organisation.
Founded way back in 1954, the Whites are a renowned sporting club in the Canberra and Queanbeyan region, and is the old stomping ground of players including the Canberra Raiders’ Ricky Stuart, Wallabies players David Campese and more recently Nic White.
First and foremost I wanted the website to be a clean and modern hub for all information relating to the organisation – easy for players, members, volunteers and spectators alike to navigate and find what they need. But after getting my hands on some of the archival content to be used on the site, I was inspired to give the overall aesthetic a small injection of the Club’s rich history.
The final result is a modern digital home for the legacy sporting organisation that is still serving them today, balanced with a light heritage aesthetic that let’s the Club’s personality shine through.
