Having previously worked with Jess a back in 2023, it was an immediate yes when she came to me in early 2026 asking for help with the design of the branding for her new venture – Wallace Communications.
Wallace Communications is a strategic communications firm serving organisations and individuals across the agriculture industry in Australia.
It’s an industry that is often visually communicated in a very un-sexy corporate way, but given the business bears her name, Jess wanted her personality to shine through in her branding. Together we set out to create a fresh, bold identity that speaks to the brand’s strategic capability, whilst paying homage to the agricultural industry they serve.
The final brand identity features a hand-drawn brand mark of the brand’s initials, with an asterisk that doubles as both an icon of her craft and the industry she serves – supported by a colour palette and typography that is both corporate and casual all at once, and a photography direction that makes the brand feel grounded. The bold asterisk icon and ties it all together as a striking visual motif representing what’s next for her clients.
