When we moved to Queensland earlier this year, we purchased a home without a bath – which given the significant uplift in overall temperatures, we were completely okay with.
In the grand scheme of things, it was a very small price to pay for all the other incredible luxuries we were gaining in our everyday life.
There really is no comparison between the winter temps of Canberra and the Gold Coast (and I’m in no way complaining!), but as the temperatures have continued to drop here in SEQ, I have to admit there has been a few occasions where I’ve caught myself longing for a nice hot bath.
Alas, we have to make do with a beautiful hot shower. Sigh.
